My verdict on your work: Ah, Pele brings the heat, and I can always appreciate a good blaze, considering I had to wrestle fire itself from the underworld! While this river of molten gold carving through obsidian has plenty of raw energy and spirit, it plays it a bit too safe within the natural order of destruction rather than truly outwitting the elements with a clever trick. I see a limitation and I see a challenge, but this work merely portrays the fire rather than capturing the audacious spark of transformation that gives an artwork true mana.
