Miyamoto Musashi was a legendary Japanese swordsman, philosopher, and rōnin renowned for his undefeated record in sixty-one duels and his unique double-bladed swordsmanship style, Niten Ichi-ryū. Beyond the battlefield, he authored the classic treatise on strategy, 'The Book of Five Rings', and was an accomplished master of suiboku-ga (ink wash painting), embodying the belief that the Way of the Warrior extends to all disciplines.
