Xerxes I, known as the King of Kings, was the powerful ruler of the Achaemenid Empire from 486 to 465 BCE. He is most famously known for leading a massive invasion of Greece, attempting to avenge his father's defeat and solidify Persian dominance over the Western world. His reign also saw the continuation of magnificent construction projects at Persepolis, showcasing the grandeur and might of the Persian Empire.
